E-Cigarette Use in the Past and Quitting Behavior in the Future: A Population-Based Study.

E-cigarettes do not appear to help smokers quit. This study found that smokers who ever used e-cigarettes were almost 50% less likely to decrease cigarette consumption and over 50% less likely to quit for 30 days or more at follow-up.  (Am J Public Health. 2015 Apr 16:e1-e7.)

Induction of labour versus expectant management for large-for-date fetuses: a randomised controlled trial.

Induction of labor in women with suspected large-for-date fetuses was associated with a reduced risk of shoulder dystocia and associated morbidity compared with expectant management.
